Event Posting Guidelines

Hello and welcome to our Directory Calendar Guidelines – We are excited to offer this service to the homeschool community. While it may reside on this website we consider it the homeschool communities event calendar. Non-profits, vendors in the directory and individuals may post events on this site for free even if they are charging for the event. Please follow these guidelines in order to get your events approved and posted as quickly as possible.

1 – No posting of any event that solicits or promotes illegal activity.

2 – No posting of political or social agenda events.

3 – No posting of events that are not of general interest and benefit to the homeschool community at large.

4 – Premiere and Featured business listings may also post events for free.

5 – The owner of this site reserves the right to approve or deny any specific event listing.

6 – Events will be screened in the order they are received and will posted as quickly as possible. We do encourage people to post as early as possible.

Examples of acceptable and not acceptable events (non-inclusive):

Not acceptable – Susie’s personal yard saleĀ  or book sale, (generally speaking if an event is at a personal residence it will not meet the community requirement.

Acceptable – Neigborhood book sale or non-profit fundraising booksale.

Not acceptable – Joe and friends going together on Saturday night to discuss curriculum.

Acceptable – Curriculum discussion open to public at local location or online.

Not acceptable – Archie’s books shop, half off sale or buy one get one free sale etc.

Acceptable – Archie’s books author book signing event.

Together we can make this a great community resource. If you have questions about a specific event “qualifying” you can reach out at info@thebg.biz.

Note: Any individual that repeatedly attempts to post non-acceptable events may be blocked permanently from access.
